Deciduous shrub/tree

Summer blooming shrub or small tree, color of flower depends on variety, 'Watermelon' has a pink flower which is attactive to flying insects, some varieties are fragrant, height depends on pruning practices and cultivar, typically 8 - 12 feet.

Common names: Crepe myrtle, crape myrtle, crepe flower.
