Ajuga reptans

Family: Lamiaceae

Perennial, herbaceous groundcover

Foliage is red-green, low growing and evergreen, with blue flower spikes mid to late spring. Spreads easily and forms a thick carpet, prefers some shade and moisture.

Common names: Ajuga, common bugle, carpet bugleweed.
